[ She shook her head. ] Everyone woke up on their own.

Between Trey and an avatar of myself in the Matrix, we were able to trap the Daleks within the recreated Gallifrey within the Matrix. The attack group and my two selves ate now forever sealed within that Gallifrey, never to escape.

Ah, a bluff! [He, of all people understands a good bluff.] They were both just avatars, weren't they? [There's no need to worry about Tre, is there?]

[ It was a clever bluff too, if she could say so herself. ] Both were projections created by the Matrix. As far as I know, that me of the future should be fine.

[Judging by the prideful slant to his smile, Irving agrees.] Good! Well done!

[He stops and points to a small tea shop.] Our tea.

[ Again she found herself smiling a little. Admittedly, it was a relief to have someone else know what has been happening. ]

At least now Gallifrey is safe again. [ And her gaze followed to see where he was pointing to, spotting the shop, and nodding once in acknowledgment of it. ] Even if I'm no longer there, I can be grateful for at least that much.

Yes, it's a kind of comfort. [He heads inside and orders tea.] Would you some cake?

[ She declines his offer with a small wave of her hand. ] Just tea for me.

[He confirms that with the server with a nod and indicates to Romana to sit and follows suit.] The tea is half decent here, I've found.

[ She sat down after she removed her coat and draped it over the back of her seat. Fingers lacing together she rested her hands on top of the table. ] I haven't had the chance to explore the other districts yet but I will be sure to keep this shop in mind in the future.

You've been to the library, have you? I've visited it, it's quite grand.

It's very impressive. I am looking forward to spending an afternoon every now and again there to do some reading.

As am I. There's even a few books from home.

There are? I haven't come across them yet. [ She pauses as a memory comes to mind. ] Tell me there isn't a copy of the The Worshipful and Ancient Law of Gallifrey here. We nearly had a catastrophe on our hands the last time it left the Panopticon.

Not that I've found. Besides, the Doctor works as a librarian there, I'm sure he would have plucked it off the selves as soon as he'd come across it.

Fair point. [ It still doesn't seem to be a good idea to have books from Gallifrey on a world that isn't, but that's going to be something she'll have to ask the Doctor about. ] Other than books, has anything else from our home shown up here?

I managed to snaffle some wine? [He smiles.] There was a harvest festival when I arrived. Apparently the Doctors nabbed some robes. I managed to miss that.

Then I know who to turn to should I need a drink. [ It was a feeble attempt at a joke, but at least it was a try. ] And I haven't been to a festival in ages.

You'll always be welcome. [He smiles and lifts up his cup.] Well, I'm sure we'll have another one, at some point.

[ There is a faint smile seen before she brought the cup to her lips and took a sip. ] Now then, this project of yours, when did you want to start on it?

Oh, I should think there's little point to dallying, don't you? [He takes a sip.] As soon as you're feeling settled?

Then whenever you're ready to. I'm not sure how 'settled' in I'll be, but having a project of sorts will keep my mind off things.

I'll get the kit we'll need and we'll start immediately.
